TcSNP first release.
Posted: 12.Jun.2008
This is the first release of TcSNP, containing > 180,000 high-quality candidate SNPs mapped against the genome of the CL-Brener clone of T. cruzi.
TcSNP is an online resource/database with information on genetic variation (polymorphisms, mutations) for different stocks, strains and isolates of Trypanosoma cruzi, the causative agent of Chagas Disease.
To search for putative T. cruzi SNPs:
- click on Genes above to search for your genes of interest
- click on SNPs above to search for individual SNPs
- click on BLAST above to search TcSNP data based on similarity against your sequence of interest
You can use the site's query history to revisit your queries, or to further refine your searches by combining the results of different queries.
